Treatment theory
The Liposonix system is powered by high-density focused ultrasound (HIFU) to permanentlydestroy subcutaneous adipose tissue. The transducer in the Replaceable Treatment Cartridge (RTC) causes energy to be precisely focused at specific depths. creating a rapid rise in temperature only in the target area.
This creates a rapid rise in temperature only in the targeted area, while other areas remain unharmed. Through the use of heat, the system creates a dual tissue response resulting in the destruction of target fat and contraction of collagen in the treatment area.
